The Add-Ons: (blind safety & water efficiency) are usually only required when starting a new lease.

To keep prices low, our Add-Ons are only available for properties covered by our Essential Compliance Plan.

Your Essential Compliance Plan includes unlimited 'Change of Tenancy' visits at no extra charge. We’ll re-test your smoke alarms and safety switches to ensure they are ready for the new tenant.
If you need any Add-Ons completed (like Water Efficiency or Blind Safety) for the new lease, you'll only pay for those specific services (at their listed fixed-price rates).
Note: If your tenant change occurs within 30 days of your Essential Compliance Plan renewal date, we’ll usually complete your full annual service then to 'reset' your year to save everyone a second visit.

We can handle all coordination directly with your tenants — from booking and organising access to sending reminders — so you don't have to.
In most cases, yes.
Our goal is to complete all testing and issue your certificates on the first visit.
• For smoke alarms: we recommend pre-approving the replacement cost, so any expired or faulty alarms can be sorted on the spot. This ensures your property is safe and minimises disruptions for your tenants.
• For blind cords: adjustments or cleat installations are included.
• For water efficiency: you may need a plumber to rectify an issue. In that case, they'll provide you with the water certificate.
We'll always clearly explain what we found so you know exactly why it needs attention.
We replace them for a fixed-price of $99 each, including installation by one of our licensed electricians.
We only use high-quality, Australian-made photoelectric alarms, with a 10-year replacement warranty.
Note: If a smoke alarm fails or has expired, it needs to be replaced before a compliance certificate can be issued.
All smoke alarms have a 10-year service life, including 240v hardwired units.
